2. How to Retrieve Your Production API Key

You only need one master production key from your official EasyPost developer dashboard:

1. EasyPost Production Key

Starts with EZAK... found under Account Settings > API Keys. Used to create trackers and read status events.

2. HTTP Basic Authentication

ZeroRTO transmits the key as the Basic Auth username with an empty password, complying with EasyPost standards.

  1. Log in to your EasyPost Dashboard.
  2. In the top right dropdown menu, click on Account Settings > API Keys.
  3. Under the Production API Keys section, copy your active key (starts with EZAK).
  4. Note: Do not use the test key (starts with EZTK) for real delivery monitoring.

3. Exactly Where to Paste in the ZeroRTO Plugin

Open your WordPress Admin > click ZeroRTO > open the Courier Networks tab:

4. Register Webhook in EasyPost Dashboard

EasyPost pushes instant tracking update events whenever any carrier marks a delivery as failed:

  1. Log in to your EasyPost Dashboard.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on Webhooks > Add Webhook.
  3. In the Webhook URL field, paste your copied endpoint URL above.
  4. Click Create Webhook.
  5. Whenever FedEx, DHL, UPS, or USPS updates a tracking status to Delivery Attempted - Recipient Not Home or Incorrect Address, ZeroRTO immediately intercepts the parcel and delivers the WhatsApp alert!

5. How ZeroRTO Syncs with Global Carriers

When a customer responds on WhatsApp, ZeroRTO synchronizes the delivery lifecycle:
