2. How to Retrieve Steadfast API & Secret Key

You need two security keys generated inside your official Steadfast Merchant account:

1. Steadfast API Key

Found under Steadfast Dashboard > Developer API. Authorizes tracking requests from your store.

2. Steadfast Secret Key

Secret signature key generated alongside your API key to verify incoming webhook alerts.

  1. Log in to your Steadfast Merchant Portal.
  2. In the left sidebar, navigate to Developer API (or Settings > API).
  3. If keys are not generated yet, click Create API Key.
  4. Copy both your API Key and Secret Key.

3. Exactly Where to Paste in the ZeroRTO Plugin

Open your WordPress Admin > click ZeroRTO > open the Courier Networks tab:

4. Register Webhook with Steadfast

Steadfast notifies your store whenever a consignment cannot be delivered:

  1. Copy your store's dedicated endpoint URL above.
  2. In Steadfast Merchant Portal, navigate to Developer API > Webhook Settings (or submit to your Steadfast support representative).
  3. Enter the endpoint URL for Consignment Status Update / Delivery Failed events.
  4. When a delivery rider reports Customer Phone Switched Off or Reschedule Requested, ZeroRTO immediately intercepts the parcel and delivers the interactive WhatsApp prompt!

5. How ZeroRTO Syncs with Steadfast

When a customer responds on WhatsApp, ZeroRTO synchronizes the delivery lifecycle:

ZeroRTO checks consignment status via /status_by_cid/, logs next-day re-delivery instructions, and updates WooCommerce order status.

Captures landmark or location details from customer WhatsApp chat, updating WooCommerce order notes so your dispatch team can notify the hub.
